A seemingly normal radio spot begins when the volume then slowly starts to fade down. A spokesperson for Commercial Radio Australia – the national body representing Australia’s Commercial radio industry – then takes over the ad.

The ad that he’s just hijacked is then used as proof that brands still find radio an effective advertising medium, convincing others that you too should advertise your brand on the radio.

We approached a number of big brands in Australia and asked if we could hijack their current on-air ads and turn them into ads of our own. Using these brands as proof that radio advertising is still an effective medium and that people are listening.
